May 2 is the time for record dealers from all over New England (and me, coming in all the way from North Carolina) to converge in Danbury. Why? To bring you a room full of awesome collectible records, tapes, cd's, video, and music related ephemera. That's right... time for the latest Danbury Record and CD Expo! The Expo is Connecticut's longest running record swap meet. Since 1997 it has been our pleasure to host the area's best purveyors of vinyl and collectibles. You will see some of your record seller favorites and some brand new faces, all with fresh exciting merch. The most recent Expo was a rousing success. Many shoppers reported great finds and a good time was had by all. Join us on Saturday, May 2 from the hours of 10 AM to 4 PM at VFW Hall 149 in the city of Danbury. The address is 5 Byron Street, Danbury C T 06810. Admission during regular hours is $4, kids under 12 free! Early admission starts at 8 AM and costs $10. As mentioned before, I'm driving up from my new home in North Carolina to attend and vend. I will have 2 tables chock full of hand picked and carefully curated vinyl, cassettes, and cd's, plus a full range of releases on my label TPOS.
