ABOUT A Life Well Lived — On Land and On the Water Step inside and discover the beautifully curated home of a family whose passions ran deep — from the open water to the far corners of the globe. Sailors, collectors, adventurers, and gracious hosts, they filled their home with pieces that tell a story: antiques carried across generations, furniture crafted by artisan hands, and treasures gathered from a lifetime of curious travel. This is a rare opportunity to bring home not just beautiful things, but pieces with genuine history and heart. SPECIAL OFFERING — Vintage El Toro Sailboat The crown jewel of this sale is a piece of local sailing legend. This vintage Mid-Century El Toro sailboat was built in the 1950s and is believed to be among the first 100 ever constructed. The current family purchased her directly from the original owners in 1975 and has treasured her ever since. She measures 95" L x 77" W with a 14-foot mast and is a perfect project boat for the beginning sailor or the dedicated restorer. She needs some TLC before she's seaworthy, but her bones are beautiful and her provenance is unmatched. Opportunities like this don't come along often. FURNITURE This collection reflects a lifetime of discerning acquisition — from English antiques to locally crafted Mid-Century treasures, every piece has a story. Among the standout antique offerings are an 1800s English Pembroke table in walnut with inlay detail, an 1800s English Gate Leg table, an 1800s English mahogany coaching table, and an 1800s wood hall table — a remarkable grouping for the serious antique enthusiast. Also on offer is a vintage oak Art Deco desk with its original Bakelite handles. Perhaps the most significant furniture offering is the vintage 1970s Rosewood dining table with extra leaf, ten chairs, and a protective pad — a masterwork crafted in San Francisco by Tom Chuck, an engineer, furniture designer, and owner of the oldest furniture store in Chinatown, SF, commissioned through Gump's. Two matching side tables by the same maker round out this exceptional set. A vintage oak caned chair from Gump's SF accompanies this collection beautifully. Additional furniture includes a vintage down-stuffed sofa with custom upholstery; a vintage leather sofa and club chair from Arizona Leather Furniture; a vintage leather Laredo Arts and Crafts style recliner from Roney's Furniture; vintage occasional upholstered chairs; a custom upholstered slipper chair; and an upholstered wingback chair. Desks and storage are well represented with a vintage "Winners Only" oak roll top desk with keys and extras, a vintage oak entertainment center, a vintage oak chest lined in cedar, an antique oak side table, a small oak fern table, oak bookshelves, and wood bookshelves in various sizes and materials. Bedroom pieces include a vintage Mid-Century Frye Furniture Industries dresser, a vintage Mid-Century dresser set made by Woodland of California, a maple dresser, and a vintage Mid-Century mahogany men's valet butler. A leather office chair and metal file cabinets are also available. Additional accent pieces include bamboo rattan nesting tables, a mahogany glass top side table, a vintage side table with small hutch, a Pottery Barn dark wood console, a single size futon chair/bed, and a vintage 1970s maple kitchen table with four re-caned chairs (re-caned 2015). Last but not least, the antique 1920s Selby piano is a beautiful focal piece for the right home.
