Annual private party sale of perennials grown in the open and well adapted to our climate. New this year: Different peonies from last year, new lilies, native Camas, a selection of grasses, and climbing honeysuckle! Large pots of daffodils, ready to display. Easy to find location only about seven blocks off Interstate 5. Address is 1105 W. Cherry St., Centralia, WA. Sale Number One dates: Thursday, April 9-Sunday April 12. Hours 9 AM to 6 PM. Watch for signs on Yew St. Rain or shine. I will edit the list daily to reflect sold cultivars. Sale number two will be May 5-9. Used pots: we appreciate you dropping off any plant pots you don't need. Any size—specially need two inch and square gallons. I went through a lot this season! CASH ONLY as I have no means of accepting other payment forms. All plants are labeled. Prices are (mostly) $3 per two to four inch pot, $4 for quart, $5 for gallon sizes, and $8 for two gallons. Some priced a bit higher depending on size and rarity.This is considerably less than current retail prices. Peonies, well rooted, budded, in 1 gallon containers, $15 each. 2 gallon peonies $20 each. Offered for sale are many old fashioned plants that are difficult to find nowadays. Are you tired of planting annuals year after year? Give perennials a try! NEW PEONIES this year: Sorbet, Gardenia, Linda's Dream, and Pietertje Vriend Wagenaar. Also one Gay Paree, and a few double pinks that is most likely Sarah Bernhardt. The peonies are well rooted in pots, so you can pop them into the garden now. BULBS: Winter bulbs: Cyclamen coum, Galanthus. Spring bulbs: Anemone nemerosa, Hyacinthoides hispanica (blue Scilla), Muscari neglectum 'Baby's Breath,' Ornithogalum umbellatum. New this year: Large pots of the lovely pink cyclaminius Narcissus, ‘Doll Baby,’ large cup yellow trumpet, beautiful blooming blue Anemone bland, and a pretty pink Corydalis. Ipheion uniflorum. Also a variety of blooming fragrant Hyacinths. Large supply of Solomon’s Seal! Summer bulbs: True lilies: New:, Asiatic lilies ‘Lollipop’ and ‘Pearl Loraine,, tiger Lily type ‘Tiger Babies,’ oriental 'Casa Blanca.' Returning are the early blooming Asiatic 'Royal Sunset,' 'Sweet Surrender,' lovely pink Asiatic 'Rosella's Dream,' the famous 'Stargazer,' pure white Oriental 'Siberia,' and the tall Orientpet ‘Robina.’ Gets six feet tall! Also new for early summer is the locally native Camas, Camassia quamash. One pot of Crocosmia, and several pots of blue Agapanthus. Fall bulbs: Three pots of Colchicum autumnale, which starts blooming in late August, and a good supply of the fall to winter blooming Cyclamen hederifolium. OTHER PERENNIALS: Alchemilla mollis, Anemone japonica in pink and white., Aster novi-angliae in pink, Aster novi-belgii in powder blue, white, dark pink, and red-violet, Campanula 'Birch Hybrid,' C. isophylla (Star of Bethlehem), C. persicifolia, C. rotundifolia, and the very interesting C. ‘Pink Octopus,’ Coreopsis verticillate, Coydalis ochroleuca, Corydalis solidarity ‘Beth Evans,’ Dicentra formosa, Digitalis purpurea, Erysimum 'Bowle's Mauve,' Euphorbia characias, a variegated form of this, E. dulcis 'Chameleon,' hardy Fuchsia ‘Diana Wright,’ Geranium x catabrigiense 'Biokovo,' G. marcorrhizum 'Ingwersen,' G. ‘Birch Double,’ Hemerocallis fulva 'Flore Plena,' four other colors of Hemerocallis, Hostas in several colors, Knautia macedonica, Iris, bearded, a white variegated bearded Iris, Iris siberica, a purple Japanese iris, Linaria purpurea, Lysimachia clethroides, Meconopsis cambrica, Myosotis sylvatica, Oregano 'Santa Cruz,' Paeonia (see above), Penstemon (purple), Phlox in three colors, Primula juliae 'Wanda' (slug resistant!), Rudbeckia hirta, Salvia, dark blue, Sedum 'Autumn Joy,' Stachys byzantina, Tradescantia, Veronica spicata 'Red Fox,' and others.
