Thirty-eight sales within less than five miles? Yes, please! The cities of the Lower St Croix Valley are having a big community garage sale event, June 25-27th!! We currently have 35 sales (and at least 3 more that didn't make the address list!) between Lakeland, Lakeland Shores, Lake St. Croix Beach, St. Mary’s Point and Afton. I know…it sounds like a lot of ground to cover, doesn’t it? But it’s not! Once you exit off of I-94 at the Lakeland,MN exit (Mn/Wi border), all cities & sales are accessible from a short, 5-mile stretch of St Croix Trail South…and most are within the first 2 miles! You’ll begin to see sale signs almost immediately! You can work your way through our neighborhoods and down St Croix Trail South until the final sale in Afton. Check out the address link below...I included suggested routes for you (might I suggest R3-the 3rd Street So entrance?\👍🏼) so that you don't all show up at the same sales at the same time! Pick a route that sounds good to you, and head that way. You can easy jump from route to route, as they are all in such a short span of St. Croix Trail. Easy-peazy! When you’re done, you can hit up a St Croix River beach, visit Selma’s for ice cream and treats, visit Afton’s shops, have lunch or dinner at the Lumberyard, spend the rest of your day hiking the trails of Afton State Park or even Bison spotting at Belwin Nature Preserve. The city of Afton is having their Strawberry Festival, too! 🍓 The things to do in our little river community are endless!
