Mark your calendar for this Saturday, May 23rd from 9AM - 1 PM. Be sure and check back here, Friday, May 22nd after 7PM for the exact address. This woodworker was a creative wizard as the many jigs scattered throughout the shop will attest to. When you're checking out the wide variety of tools, don't overlook the plethora of jigs hanging everywhere. Additionally, there is a nice selection of long and wide white oak and poplar boards, all of which is priced to move. At this sale you're going to find table saws, band saws, jointers, belt disc sanders, router tables, shapers, scroll saws, hand planes and clamps along with some nice accessories. Be sure and check out the photo's not only here but also on Craigslist after 8 PM tonight. Butcher's Prime Cut - I'm going with an oddball for this sale. It's a Federal outside dial caliper thickness gauge designed for measuring among other things the thickness of bowl walls. This is what the owner used it for back in the day. I've never had one like this in previous sales and it'll be interesting to see which turner grabs it first.
