If you saw my post for an exquisite SIRIO patio sofa set a couple of weeks ago that had over 1200 clicks, you will have an idea of the unique quality that you will encounter in every room. The sale is of the belongings of two siblings. The delightful owner is leaving the paradise of Sonoma for a New York City adventure. The equally delightful other is departing for an odyssey near Capetown in South Africa. Imagine . . . The house if filled with recently bought, modern, simple furnishings. Impressively so. Pieces from West Elm, Room and Board, Article, IKEA, Anthropologie, Shiloh, Bed Bath and Beyond, Burrow . . . Then there are the collectibles. A 2002 wooden soccer ball statue commemorating Korea hosting the 2002 World Cup. Chinese, Japanese and Korean bowls, spoons, tea pots, porcelain, silver, gold. Waterford and other crystal. Amazing miniature model cars. And even man cave tools and compressor and creeper and . . . There will also be: A TV. Garden pots and plants. Lamps. Art. Two beautiful, large Peruvian-style reverse-painted mirrors with an ornate gold frame. That's enough for now. Have to leave some surprises for posts as the sale date approaches.
